Solihull racer Harry Tincknell claimed his first win at Brands Hatch last weekend and two top 10 finishes at the legendary Kent circuit in the Cooper Tires British F3 Series.
Tincknell said: “I had a slightly disappointing qualifying to be honest we didn’t really have the pace and I qualified 14th. There didn’t appear to be anything massively wrong but when we went back and checked the car we found there to be a few problems so changed the set up quite a lot for the first race. “
In race one, Tincknell started 14th on the grid and quickly made his way up the field to 11th place. On lap 11 the F3 racer finally pitted to change to slick racing tyres. From there he slowly continued to make up positions to finally finish the race in 10th place.`
For race two on Sunday, 19-year-old Tincknell left the grid in pole position and maintained his lead with a positive start until the chequered flag.
In the final race of the weekend Tincknell started from 14th on the grid and tackled the field with real determination to make his way up the positions to finish in ninth place.
