SOLIHULL-based F3 racer Harry Tincknell will tackle the new Snetterton 300 circuit in the third round of the British F3 Series this weekend.
The 19-year old, pictured, who is competing in his first year of the series, had a strong race at Oulton Park last month and gained his first podium place in the second race of the season.
Tincknell has high hopes for Snetterton and, with previous success on the circuit, aims to bring home more podium results this weekend with his Fortec team.
He said: “I’m really looking forward to Snetterton. I’ve won three times here and last year, in Formula Renault, I qualified on pole, won the race and set the lap record.
“For 2011, the track has been extended and the new loop features some challenging slow and medium-speed corners.
“The old track only had five corners, so it definitely makes it a lot more exciting and should hopefully produce some good racing.
“My aim is to improve on my results of third, sixth and seventh at Oulton and challenge for podium places again.”
Qualifying at Snetterton takes place on Saturday May 14 at 10.40am, with race one at 2.55pm. Races two and three take place on Sunday at 10.55am and 4.15pm.
