SPECTATORS turned out in force over the Bank Holiday weekend to support Charity Ice which was organised by Renault Solihull Barons at Solihull Ice Rink.
Highlight of the many events on show was a charity match between Renault Solihull Barons against a Barons side of the past and future.
A thrilling match resulted with Renault Solihull Barons winning 8-4.
However the real winner of the event was Birmingham Children’s Hospital as Charity Ice raised over £1,000 for them.
Barons season gets underway this weekend with a trip to Sheffield.
The home campaign kicks-off on Sunday, September 12 when they host Bradford Bulldogs with face-off at 6pm.
