EDINBURGH will again echo to the sound of the HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship’s cars when the event receives star billing during the city’s world-famous festivals period just prior to wowing the crowds at the Knockhill circuit in August.
Solihull driver Adam Jones will be hoping to push his way up the rankings after an impressive start to the season.
Against the stunning backdrop of the Scottish capital’s iconic castle, many of the BTCC’s top drivers will put on a high-speed spectacle along Johnston Terrace.
This year’s event will take place on August 13 but at the earlier time of midday, with an autograph session enabling the public to meet the championship’s big names prior to their demonstration runs that will finish at 2.00pm.
Following the event, the teams and drivers will head north over the Forth Bridge to the Knockhill circuit in Fife for round seven of the 2009 BTCC calendar on the weekend of August 15-16.
