Blythe Barracudas produced some magnificent swims at the City of Coventry Open Meet at their 50m pool on Sunday, January 16.

Nine-year-old Lily Graham (pictured) won the BAGCAT trophy, awarded for her four gold medals in her age group in the 50 and 200m freestyle, 200m backstroke and individual medley events, all in new personal best times.

There were some outstanding performances from the boys too - 12-year-old Ben Austin took gold in the 200m individual medley, to go with a silver medal in the 100m breaststroke and two bronze medals in the 200m freestyle and 50m butterfly. Tom McNutt won gold in the 50m backstroke and bronze in the 50 and 100m freestyle in personal best times.

Matt Austin, aged 14, won two silver and a bronze in the 50m freestyle, 100m breaststroke, 200m freestyle and individual medley races.

Capping off a fine day for Blythe, 10-year-old Rhys Dunne achieved his first competitive medals with bronze in the 50m freestyle and butterfly events.
