MOSELEY face table-topping Wombourne at home on Saturday after a double run out left them with a draw and just five points against Coventry NW last week.

The Streetsbrook Road side sit in fourth position in the Birmingham Premier Division One 24 points behind the leaders and will welcome back talisman bowler Fred Ebureh for the fixture.

“It’s going to be a big test for us but we will have Freddy back and hopefully will get a result,” said skipper Abdul Hafeez, who will be looking for a sharper performance from his batting line up.

“Last week the two run outs really did for us,” he said. “We would have won but for them and I was involved in one. We weren’t pushing for runs it was just a misunderstanding but it’s very frustrating.”

However there were positives to take away.

“I was very pleased with the first half of the game,” said skipper Abdul Hafeez. “All the bowlers played well and we bowled them out for 158.”

l The Dorridge game against Wombourne was abandoned due to rain.
