Meriden’s Jade Paveley raced her way to her National A Kart licence at Brands Hatch last weekend enabling her to compete on a national level after excelling in club championships.

Jade however has her sights set on Le Mans and the British Touring Car Championships as early as the end of next year.

Proud dad David said: “I am really pleased with Jade’s progress. You can see how the pressure of finishing her college work has enabled her to focus on her motorsport aspirations and the increase in speed has been obvious.”

Jade added: “It’s good to have a goal, although I could never go racing until I’d finished my revision.”
