SOLIHULL Cycling Club will be organising circuit races at the purpose-built Tudor Grange Circuit in central Solihull.
The emphasis is on cheap ‘no frills’ racing and serves as a prelude to a ‘No Frills Racing Series’ at Solihull in May and June.
Women’s racing is growing rapidly, in not only quality but also the number of events being organised across the country and Solihull CC are keen to do their bit to push the women’s racing agenda.
On Saturday there will be women’s handicap races, for all categories of women, in which female third and fourth category riders will be set off with a head-start over female second category and lastly first category riders. The idea is to encourage women of all categories to enter and have a great race.
Provided this event is well supported, there will be similar events for women on Saturday, May 25 and June 22. For more information, contact Guy Elliott on 07771 575158.
