OLTON can enjoy their match with Sikh Union tomorrow after ensuring Midlands Premier hockey next season.

Four goals from Tom Pickersgill gave Olton a victory they needed.

The Grange Road side looked like they would be dragged into the relegation scrap last month but a recent run of three consecutive wins helped ease these fears.

A back hand strike from Pickersgill opened the scoring but Mansfield replied immediately.

The hot-shot then converted from a short corner but after the break the visitors again levelled the scores.

However, two further strikes from Pickersgill late on rounded up the victory.
