Solihull Blossomfield 1 – 4 North Notts
IN A hard fought first half, the teams were evenly matched, and although the visitors had slightly more chances, neither side could find the net. But seconds before the whistle went, the deadlock was broken, as the visitors scored the opener.
The second half started poorly for the home side as they conceded from an early short corner, and then minutes later they were guilty of being caught in possession and the visitors mounted a counter-attack, the result of which was a third goal.
Marcus Bowen was able to reduce the deficit
following a fine passing move, but North Notts made the points safe, scoring from a dragged flick short corner.
Olton 3 – 0 Mansfield
OLTON continued their excellent campaign despite being kept at bay for long periods by a strong and defensive Mansfield side.
They took the lead on 20 minutes through Ollie Needham, but unlike previous weeks, Olton were unable to build on the initial score.
In the second half Olton remained lively, but continued to be frustrated by a very defensive-minded Mansfield.
The visitors came close to drawing level themselves, but in the 55th minute Olton had their second when Daniel Sulway scored from a well worked short corner move.
The lead was then extended by Pickersgill late on with yet another short corner drag flick.
