AFTER turning around level at half-time, Berkswell eased well clear in the second half to complete an emphatic victory over struggling Kidderminster in Midlands West 2 (South).
Straight from the kick-off, the visitors took the game to their hosts. Winning good ball at scrum and lineout, B’s were ten points ahead after 19 minutes.
Kidderminster worked their way back into the game in the final ten minutes of the first half and from a solid start, Berkswell’s lead had been pegged back and at half-time, the match was finely balanced.
Three minutes into the second half, Kidderminster took the lead for the first time.
Ten minutes later, flanker Jack Biggins scored for Berkswell with Sam Bignall converting the try.
Berkswell then scored their fourth try and claimed the bonus point with Mark Galpin cantering over the line to score - James Knott converting.
A push-over try by Galpin made it 13-29 and finally, with quarter of an hour remaining, Bignall scored a try. Then, with five minutes left, Bignall scored again. Knott kicked the conversion to seal an eventually impressive victory.
