Personal best for Scarlett in the 25m

Blythe Barracudas hosted the first round of the Nuneaton Junior League held at Stechford Cascades swimming pool on Saturday April 9.

There were first places for the nine-year-old girls in all four of their individual events. Scarlett Flynn won the 25m breaststroke in a personal best time, and there were wins for Lily Graham in the 25m butterfly and freestyle and Charlotte Rigg in the 25m backstroke event.

The nine-year-old girls also won both their relay events in the medley and freestyle races with swimmers Charlotte Rigg, Scarlett Flynn, Lily Graham and Molly Sanders.

Twelve-year-old Emily Graham impressed with a double winning streak in her 50m backstroke and 50m butterfly events.

For the boys, 10-year-old Tom O’Hanlon achieved an excellent first place in his 50m backstroke event, and the ever consistent Jack Wilson won the 11 year old boys 50m breaststroke in a fantastic personal best time.
