Race against frost to keep racing on track

Frost is forecast for everyday of the week, however racecourse staff are doing everything in their power to allow racing to go ahead.

With total prize-money of more than £180,000 on offer, totesport Classic day is a meeting that attracts horses destined for the Cheltenham and Aintree festivals in the spring.

The highlight is the season’s richest race - the £70,000 totesport.com Classic Chase over three miles and five furlongs, shown live on Channel 4.

The first race is set for 12.50pm. Admission is £18 for adults and £12 for 17-25-year-olds and seniors. It is free for the under-16s who come with an adult.
