BERKSWELL & Balsall Common Tennis Club is helping Silhillians get in shape this summer with the introduction of a new ‘Cardio Tennis’ fitness programme.
The club in Meeting House Lane is launching the initiative described as ‘keep-fit tennis to music’ to encourage people to get outdoors and get moving during the summer months.
Tennis Coach and Programme Organiser Rachael Pickering said: “Cardio Tennis is a fun activity for men and women of any level of fitness. It involves lots of ball play and movement around the court and is all about keeping active and keeping fit.”
The five-week course starts on Friday June 5 at 1pm. Each session is 45 minutes and the cost for the five-week programme is £25 for B&BCTC members or £30 for non-members.
