RENAULT Solihull Barons looked quick and sharp in their game against Bradford Bulldogs - having now had two proper training sessions since Solihull Ice Rink re-opened.

And it took just two minutes for Richard Slater to open the scoring against hard-hitting Bradford, with two further goals from Luke Thomas and Rob Eley before the first period ended.

It took less than two minutes for the Barons to score again, this time through Andy Ayers, and he scored again within three minutes to make it 5-0. Goals then came at regular intervals with Erik Bakalar scoring two, and both Mike Smith and Slater scoring one each. The final period was like the first two, with further goals from Ayers and Slater - who both completed their hat tricks - and Thomas and Eley, to make the final score 13-0.
