Solihull Municipal returned to winning ways in Division A of the Birmingham League with a convincing 6-0 victory over Erdington Court.
Muni captain John Bentien called both rinks into powerplay and each rink opened a seven-shot lead after the first six ends.
Bention, skipping Rob Wilson, Geoff Wyatt and Clive Burbage, extended their lead to 11 shots in the middle third but Phil Robinson was in brilliant form, reducing the deficit to four shots.
The Muni skipper’s rink continued to dominate and ran out 24-7 winners. The other Muni rink, with Gary Langford brilliantly skipping, regained control to win by 18-9.
