SOLIHULL Swimming Club hosted their annual Junior Trophy Gala. Solihull A came first in 16 events and battled with Kingsbury Aquarius to finish second with two points separating the two teams.

The remaining results saw Blythe Barracudas (179) in third, Perry Beeches (170) in fourth, Rugby (135) in fifth and Solihull B (79) in sixth.

For many swimmers it was their first competitive gala and the best boy and girl awards for Solihull went to Emily McNab, Toby Bennett, Louise Baynham and Ethan Robinson-Bule for their highly commendable performances.

This success was followed up by 20 members attending the Peri Sprints open at Rugby, coming home with more personal bests and 16 medals between them including three first places by Caitlin Hubbard and Oliver Rooney.
