SOLIHULL racing driver Nick Yelloly stormed to his second win of the 2012 Formula Renault 3.5 season in treacherous racing conditions at the Nurburgring at the weekend.
Starting in P14, Nick mastered the wet track and poor visibility and fought his way to win, 27 seconds ahead of his nearest rival.
Nick said: “Yesterday was really tough but we ended the weekend on a high and have maintained third in the Championship. Now there are only ten points covering the top three so it’s really close heading to Russia.”
Nick is currently third in the drivers’ Championship on 76 points with Frijins and Bird tying for the lead with 86 points each.
Nick heads to Moscow on July 14 for the next round of the Formula Renault 3.5 Championship.
