St Martin's triumphs at borough swimming championships

PUPILS at St Martin’s School are celebrating after achieving their best ever results in the Solihull Borough Swimming Championships.

PUPILS at St Martin’s School are celebrating after achieving their best ever results in the Solihull Borough Swimming Championships.

The Year 8, Year 9, Year 10 and Senior Teams were all declared overall winners with the school becoming overall borough champions for the sixth successive year.

This follows on from the Year 10 and 11 team’s success competing in the English Schools Swimming Association National Finals where they finished 11th place in the Freestyle and 13th place in the Medley.

Individual winners included Sasha Hofton in the Year 7 Breaststroke; Alice Glover Year 8 Front Crawl; Sophie Stables Year 8 Butterfly; Megan Stretton Year 9 Front Crawl; Lucy Glover Year 10 Backstroke; Maria Lyri Year 10 Breaststroke; Jessica Slevin Year 11 Backstroke.

Saint Martin’s is an independent school for girls.
