SPORTS stars were present at the official opening of the Atlas Sports Injury Clinic in Hall Green this week.

SPORTS stars were present at the official opening of the Atlas Sports Injury Clinic in Hall Green this week.

Former Aston Villa favourite Ian Taylor joined ex-Coventry City defender David Busst and world endurance hardman Paddy Doyle.

Award-winning business Atlas Pain Relief Centre have launched the new back pain and Sports Injury Clinic at the Robin Hood Island. They are the only outlet in the West Midlands included in the recommended injury clinics by the Flora London Marathon.

Director John Williams said that demand has steadily grown since the clinic opened eight months ago. “As there can be lengthy waiting lists on the NHS for physiotherapy, the clinic is providing a welcome alternative for people with back and neck pain,” he said.

The clinic boasts practitioners with running expertise and offers biomechanical evaluations, video gait analysis, laser foot scanning and prescription orthotics.

Atlas have launched a new website called www.runninginjuryclinic.co.uk to help marathon runners with injuries.
