Hampton Village was only formed in 2008 and the team consists of both adults and younger players - giving the youngsters a chance to develop their bowling and batting.
Rodger Charlton - team captain, coach and chairman of cricket - has high praise for Anikett, who he has also played alongside.
He said: “As a player he is great to play with as he is both very sporting and very modest, given his amazing ability for his age.
“His greatest performance of the season was against Walmley CC when Walmley were bowled out for a low score, and in five overs he took four wickets for just eight runs.
“Without doubt he is our player of the month and we are very proud of him, as I am sure his father Paresh is too, who regularly plays with us.”
