Solihull driver Harry Tincknell doubled up on his podium finishes this season, claiming a second place finish in last weekends Cooper Tires British Formula 3 series at Snetterton after his success at Oulton during Easter.
Tincknell, who drives for the Fortec Motorsport team, claimed second place in race two, whilst also finishing in two other top ten positions over the meet.
Tincknell said: “It was a question of managing my tyres and avoiding errors which led to recording my best yet F3 result. I made a really good start; I think I have really cracked the starts now… Hopefully my first win isn’t too far away.”
The Solihull man is currently sitting tenth after his success at Snetterton and faces several more high-profile tracks in the coming months, with Brands Hatch and the Nurburgring in store next for the driver.
The next round of British Formula 3’s 60th anniversary season is at Brands Hatch on June 18/19. For tickets visit www.motorsportvision.co.uk or by call 0843 453 9000.
