MOSELEY managed a much-needed Bank Holiday Monday win over Kenilworth Wardens in the Birmingham League Premier Division.
A full strength Moseley side restricted Wardens to 184 all out and then knocked off the runs to record an easy seven wicket success.
Opening bat Ian Stokes revealed: “We dropped three catches during Wardens innings, so we should have got them out for a great deal less”.
Seam bowler Sharkey Hussein proved pick of Moseley’s bowling attack by taking four for 37 while Keith Bell with 65 and Calum McLeod who made 64, produced a defining second wicket partnership which took Moseley to the verge of victory.
Moseley expect to keep the same side when they entertain league leaders Kidderminster Victoria at Streetsbrook Road on Saturday.
