Award for Camp Hill kids

CAMP Hill’s Mini & Juniors section have received a RFU top award, just before they embark on their new season.

CAMP Hill’s Mini & Juniors section have received a RFU top award, just before they embark on their new season.

The Year-3 Seal of Approval was awarded to the club who are still on the look out for interested youngsters.

“The Approval is the culmination of a huge amount of work by a number of people within Camp Hill,” said a club spokesperson.

“In essence this is the highest RFU kitemark available and is only awarded to those rugby clubs that meet a stringent set of criteria set by the RFU.”

The Shirley-based outfit boasted a record in-take of Mini & Junior players last season, and are looking to do even better as the 2009/10 season gets under way at Haslucks Green Road on Sunday.

The club say they can offer fun and fully supervised training to young people from school years one to 12.

To find out more, drop in to see them at their Haslucks Green Road ground on Sunday at 10.15am, or call Richard Moakes on 07715 205118.
