Bees U16 took on Worcester in the semi-final of the NMC. From the start of the game the Bees forwards dominated in all aspects of open play and were eventually rewarded with a drop goal from the boot of Beaty.
This was followed by some brutish forward play which culminated in a try for Jack Hobbs, the extra two points were added from the touchline by the trusty Beaty. Bees continued to run the game and eventually scored again, via Blundell going over from close range. Again the extras were added by the now metronomic Beaty. Worcester tried to get a foothold in the game and scored a try in the corner through Beresford Smith.
The second half started the same with Blundell breaking from the base of a scrum on halfway to side step the Worcester scrum half and then hand off the 15 to go over in the corner.
Worcester did get a further score but were never really in contention, the remaining points added by Beaty. Final score 31-18. Bees play Bridgnorth in the final on April 25 at Luctonians.
