Walsall 37 Camp Hill 27
CAMP Hill’s relegation worries deepened last week as their winless run stretched to seven games.
The Haslucks Green Road Side are currently propping up the Midlands Two West table and desperately need a win tomorrow against Sutton Coldfield to kick-start their season.
Camps led the first half after tries from Simon Edwards and Darren Forder had helped establish a 13-19 lead.
But it was a lot tighter after the break as Matt Wood added the extras to a score from right-wing Adam Coniff before Rob Obeng-Manu hit back for the visitors.
Wood improved Turner’s second try but again Camps levelled the scores through Edwards’ fourth penalty of the day.
Both sides were desperate to find the killer blow but unfortunately for Camp Hill it came from Walsall full back Chris Mould who ran the length of the pitch to touchdown.
Wood kicked the conversion and added a late penalty to leave the away side bottom of the league.
