BIRMINGHAM Exiles' 100 per-cent record was ended last week as a late Chaddesley Corbett try broke their hearts.
The Bickenhill side remain unbeaten as they go into their home clash with Clee Hill tomorrow but were left ruing a last-gasp touchdown that ensured the points were shared in Worcestershire last week.
That said the hosts started positively and full back Calvin Ball took full advantage to open the opening scoring with an impressive pushover early on.
Despite falling behind E's still looked full of confidence though and applied pressure to the Chaddesley pack throughout the first half.
As half time approached Elliott Johnstone slotted over a penalty to cut the gap to two points but Chaddesley extended their lead through a penalty of their own from outside centre Roger Fry after the break.
Determined to keep their impressive record intact, Exiles bombarded the home line and got their reward when scrum half Andy Root found a gap to force his way over and level the scores.
But with the last play of the game Chaddesley whipped a penalty out to the left and Ball completed his second touchdown of the game.
To the visitors relief Fry's conversion narrowly went wide meaning the points were shared.
