MARK Woodrow and Matt Long continued to prove their worth with two dominant displays in England RU Counties XV’s Far East tour.
The Birmingham & Solihull Bees duo helped the national side to their highest-ever win with a 108-10 victory over Korea President’s XV in Seoul last Friday.
And although team manager Danny Hodgson jiggled with his team selection for the game against East Japan three days later, the Gloucestershire-based pair came off the bench to help record a 67-31 victory.
Last Friday the tourists scored 16 tries in a free-flowing romp in which all their training ground work came to fruition in spectacular style to eclipse their previous record - a 76-10 win over Russia.
During the win, fly-half Woodrow got his name on the try-sheet and also added 12 conversions.
