Edwardians enjoyed a comfortable win on the road at Alcester on Saturday with a seven-tries-to-one victory and a hat trick of touchdowns from number 8 Andrew Jervis.

They maintain their 15-game unbeaten run in all competitions.

The first score came from an Eds eight-man pushover, with Jervis controlling the ball and diving over the line. The front row of Sean Bakewell, Robert Gill and Gareth Symes were soon providing the platform for Jervis to score a carbon copy.

Alcester hit back with a converted try but with a penalty from scrum half Mark Garrick and further tries from lock Phillip Bower, Garrick, winger Greg Johnson, Jervis (again) then Johnson again, Eds romped home.

Eds entertain local rivals Birmingham Exiles at home on Saturday (ko 2.15pm).
