A Shirley rugby club’s ‘Mini Section’ has once again proved its success, by producing a fully-fledged member of a Guinness Premiership side.
Solihull-born James Freeman started his rugby career as a 10-year old in the Camp Hill RFC’s Mini Section – and just eight years later made his debut for the Worcester Warriors, last week.
“It’s wonderful to see one of our home grown players doing so well,” said a club spokesperson.
“James has a lot of good friends at Camp Hill, and everyone at the club is extremely proud of him.”
Camp Hill’s Mini’s and Juniors cater for all ages, both sexes, and any experience. For details call Richard Moakes on 07715 205118.
