Kidderminster Carolians 11
Old Silhillians 15
DESPITE conceding a try within two minutes of the kick-off Sils, after a sluggish start, recovered to seal this win against a much-improved opposition.
A Harrison Law penalty kept them in touch at half time at 8-3 down before Sils upped their game for the second period.
However it was indeed Kidderminster who scored first with another penalty and it wasn’t until the 70th minute that the visitors crossed the line.
The forwards won quick ball and the backs created space for Rafael Guimaraes to score out wide, converted by Law.
Guimaraes crossed again to put Sils in the lead and cap a remarkable fightback.
Silhillians entertain Cheltenham North on Saturday at Copt Heath.
