STRUGGLING Solihull slipped to a disappointing defeat against Cheltenham North who won their first game of the season on Saturday.
The visitors arrived at Sharman's Cross Road in determined mood and were able to prevent Solihull from racking up an early score.
But, in an error-strewn performance, where neither side were able to dominate for any length of time, Solihull's only try was scored by Andrew Ford who touched down from a line out.
John Robinson converted and added a penalty but it wasn't enough as the away side ran out worthy victors.
The defeat leaves Solihull languishing in the bottom half of the Midlands 2 West table with just two wins from the first 6 league games of the season.
Tomorrow they travel to Dudley Kingswinford (2.30pm).
