Solihull side Exiles find league leaders Ledbury too strong

EXILES returned to action on Saturday against top of the table Ledbury and although E’s competed well in the first half, after the break they found the big, hard-running home side, both backs and forwards, difficult to stop.

The visitors shipped two tries, once converted, before steadying enough for inside centre Stuart Milne to touch down, the try being well converted by stand off Dan Johnstone.

In the second period, the Exiles pack started to struggle and the Herefordshire side made the most of the advantage to rattle in another 22 points to no reply. However, to their great credit, E’s continued to battle it out right to the final whistle.

This Saturday their league programme continues with a home match against near neighbours Civil Service, kick off 2.15pm.
