Society milestone

KNOWLE Operatic Society are about to enter their 50th year and are due to begin rehearsals for their new show next month.

The musical theatre company started life in 1962 and will be staging the musical Carousel for their anniversary at Solihull Arts Complex from March 5-10, next year.

An open evening will be held at Bentley Heath CoFE Primary on September 7, starting at 7.30pm.

It will give new members the chance to meet the production team and company.
