Viennese whirling

If you’re looking for a way to kick-start 2012, then the sparkling tunes of the CBSO’s annual Viennese gala are guaranteed to launch your New Year with a swing! Conductor Stephen Bell will be leading the orchestra through favourites such as Strauss’s Blue Danube Waltz and Pizzicato Polka, alongside a selection of operetta from star soprano Rebecca Bottone, including Millocker’s I Give My Heart and Zeller’s Roses in Tyrol.
