YOU'LL have to act quickly if you want to catch an 'early bird' ticket for Birmingham's Gigbeth festival.

The weekend event which features local heroes The Guillemots alongside The Young Knives, The Sugarhill Gang and Stanton Warriors.

Clare Edwards, Gigbeth organiser, said: "The early bird tickets are a way of saying thank you to everyone who wants to guarantee their place at this year's festival. It also offers a cheaper alternative to the overall weekend ticket price which will make the event more accessible and encourage people to see a wider range of artists over the entire weekend."

The tickets are available at a discounted price, just £20 for the whole weekend, which gives you access to over 200 bands and DJs in 10 different venues across the city.

However the tickets are only available until midnight tonight (Friday), after that weekend tickets will be at the standard price of £25.
