‘A FAST and furious farce’ is the subject for the Union Theatre’s Spring production, however they need your help in order to stage it.
The story is set in the Victorian era of high manners when it was not seen fitting for gentlemen students to entertain young ladies without a chaperone present.
However one evening when the chaperone fails to show, the eager girls conspire to dress up one of their friends as the missing aunt.
All profits from the theatre’s production goes to charity, but they are in need of full-length evening dress and gentleman’s white tie and tails to aid them in their production.
‘Charley’s Aunt’ will be staged at Dorridge Village Hall from April 23-25. If you can help out the group with a donation of a costume contact Pauline Brand on 0121 705 6367.
