LOCAL history buffs should get themselves down to Solihull Library, where an exhibition exploring the history of ordinary families is taking place.
‘Cottages in Knowle 1660 - 1914’ has been put together by Knowle Local History Society and uncovers some fascinating nuggets of hence unknown history.
Researchers Jill Chape and Mary Nejedly looked into the past of cottages in Golden End, Kenilworth Road, Station Road, Lodge Road and Wilsons Road in Knowle.
The free exhibition runs until April 4 and is located by the Heritage Gallery on the first floor of Solihull Library.
