MEMBERS of Hall Green Little Theatre are busy rehearsing for two new shows.

Both the youth theatre and the old pros will be staging a show before the end of the month.

First up are the youngsters, in Rockafella - which puts an entirely new spin on Cinderella. The popular fairytale leaves “far away” behind, with events unfolding at a school disco. The show runs from April 12-17.

Following that, a completely different production - which focuses on the horrors and sacrifice of the Great War.

KILLED takes place in 1916 and explores the sacrifice that so many people made during the conflict.

Written in the 70s, it was performed by HGLT several years ago and is one of several productions being revived for the troupe’s anniversary year.

If you’d like to book tickets for either show then call 0121 707 1874 or log on to www.hglt.org.uk.
