TAKE a step back into the past later this month, when Temple Balsall opens its doors for Heritage Weekend.
The hamlet - which lies between Knowle and Balsall Common - has a rich history and will be hosting a number of events.
Visitors will have the chance to find out more about the infamous Knights Templar - a Medieval order who had a headquarters in the area.
More recent history will also be explored and children will be shown the delights of a Victorian schoolroom.
There will also be concerts, entertainment and an art exhibition - displaying the works of more than 60 artists.
Heritage Weekend is an annual event and this year Temple Balsall will be taking part from September 11-13.
For more details or to book tickets for the concert call the Parish Office on 01564 778022.
