LANGLEY School will be taking its rock concert to the very venue where the Beatles made their names.

Over 100 musicians will be performing at Liverpool's Cavern Club. Joining Langley on the famous stage will be pupils from Alderbrook, Archbishop Grimshaw, Castle Bromwich Junior School and Solihull Music Service.

Earlier this year, Langley filled Birmingham Town Hall with a celebrated gala concert.

Terry Clarke, the school's arts director, said: "Performing on the most famous stage in the world should be a day to remember for all of the parents, pupils and staff making the trip to the European City of Culture 2008."
