The Fort shopping centre is going retro – and hosting its very own drive-in movie, on Sunday, May 29.

Tickets are on sale now, and after the popularity of a similar event a few years ago, the shopping park is predicting a rush for tickets.

All monies raised through ticket sales will go direct to Birmingham Children’s Hospital, so film buffs will be supporting a very worthy cause.

The showing of a family favourite, Toy Story 3, will take place at 9.30pm, but cars will be able to park up from 7.30pm, and enjoy on-stage entertainment and prize giveaways before the movie begins.

Marjan Horne, manager said, “We are really excited to be hosting the Drive-In Movie. It’s a novel way to have a fun evening out with the family, and I’m sure the event will be a success with our shoppers and the wider community!”

Tickets cost £12 per car from www.wish4ticket.com

All proceeds go to Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
