SET in a mysterious institution and powered by a ‘funky and haunting’ techno soundtrack, Twelfth Floor is a piece of exciting contemporary dance soon to arrive at Warwick Arts Centre.
Choreographed by Tanja Liedtke, Twelfth Floor is a powerful and original piece of work which won the Australian Dance Awards for Outstanding Choreography and Outstanding Female Dancer in 2006.
Involving five performers, the dance work is a darkly funny physical exploration of human interactions in a confined environment.
The performance will incorporate a mix of dance, theatre, movement and video.
Tanja Liedtke had been a leading dancer with Australian Dance Theatre and was due to take up the post of Artistic Director of Sydney Dance Company before her accidental death in 2007, aged just 29.
The tour of Twelfth Floor is to be led by Liedtke’s partner in life and business Sol Ulbrich.
To see this unique dance call the box office on 024 7652 4524 or book online at www.warwickartscentre.co.uk.
The performance will be at Warwick Arts Centre on February 10 and 11.
