Homely setting for art

AN ARTIST has drawn inspiration from some of the country’s most historic buildings.

AN ARTIST has drawn inspiration from some of the country’s most historic buildings.

Louise Claire Bradley, from St Alphege, has previously sketched landmarks from Europe and Asia - now she’s turned her attentions to something closer to home, Baddesley Clinton.

Next month, the artist will be visiting the National Trust manor house to talk about her techniques. The discussion - From Architecture to Fabric - will take place on March 11.

As well as pencil drawings, Louise Claire also works with textiles and has sold some of her work to the Royal Shakespeare Company.

An exhibition showcasing her work will be held at another historic property, Packwood House, from April 21-June 1.
