AS Musical Co-ordinator for the hit Take That spectacular Never Forget, Steve Socci must have 'Patience' in bucket loads!
The 48 -year-old from Nethercote Gardens in Shirley is the man in charge of appropriating musical services for the show - a task the musician relishes.
"I get involved from the very first stage. I start off getting audition pianists and then appoint musical directors and the orchestra.
"It's more of an admin job as we do have a musical supervisor who is responsible for teaching the cast to sing. I'm a very hands on person. I know the right person for the right job!"
Married to Karen whom he met when she played for the Shirley Brass band and dad to Light Hall School pupils Joseph who is 15 and Rebecca, 13, Steve boasts an impressive resume having worked on shows including West Side Story, The Wedding Singer and Shout. But it is the success of Never Forget that impresses the children.
'They love it, they've been to see the show several times. Its one of the best shows I have been involved with.
Steve commutes each day to his business, Steve Socci Musical Services Limited in Covent Garden and when the show transfers to the Lyric theatre in Shaftesbury Avenue in November, the former Great Barr School pupil will be there too.
"I will stay involved with the show until they get rid of me!" he laughed.
