SOLIHULL'S newest music venue - The Red Lion in Shirley - plays host to The Holy Show Band this Saturday.
The band, fresh from their performance at last weekend's Artsfest, will be performing their usual mixture of Irish music and pop and rock covers spanning the 1950s to the present day.
Live music has proved a big hit at the Stratford Road pub since a dedicated Saturday night music venue was launched in the function room a few months.
Since then the venue has featured bands from as far away as Germany as well as plenty of crowd pleasers from closer to home.
The Holy Show Band are on stage at 9pm and admission is £3.
Next up at the Red Lion are rock and blues band Crisis on October 4.
