Kris back at the beginning

A MUSICAL director will be going back to his roots next month, when the group he founded put on a concert at his old school.

Kris Byrne set up the North Solihull Singers three-years-ago and since then the members have performed at a number of local venues.

But the autumn concert is set to be a little bit special, as Kris goes back to Langley School - where he was a pupil in the 1990s.

The singers, who rehearse at Chelmsley Wood Baptist Church, perform music from the likes of The Beatles and The Jackson 5.

On September 25, the 27-strong choir and their nine-piece band will be raising the roof of Langley’s newly-refurbished school hall.

Tickets are available by calling 0121 788 3402 or emailing tickets@northsolihullsingers.co.uk.
