SOLIHULl Model Railway Circle is holding their annual model railway exhibition on Saturday November 8 at St Mary's Church Hall, Hobs Meadow off Hobs Moat Road.
Ten working layouts plus trade and society support have been invited covering the popular scale from N to G including Solihull Model Railway Circle's own layout 'Cherwell' which is a four track mainline with an integral branch line.
It features working automatic signals and has largely scratch built buildings with a local theme (The Manor House, The Mason's Arms, The George Hotel, The Fat Cats, Tyseley Station, and Water Orton Station).
It was built mainly to display scale length mainline trains, those being run reflecting the varying interests of the membership. Trains run are usually British outline, but can come from any part of the UK mainland and from any date between about 1900 to the present day.
Doors open at 10:00am and close at 4pm. Admission is adults £2, senior £1.50 child £1 family £5.
Light refreshments and free parking available.
