Your Panto memories are required!

Do you have any pantomime memories you’d like to share with Malcolm?

To celebrate Malcolm Stent’s amazing 20 years performing in Solihull’s traditional family pantomime SolihullArts Complex are collecting your thoughts, stories and memories about any of his shows... over the last 20 years at Solihull Arts Complex

Perhaps you remember the Jack Douglas routine, Vince Hill’s Edelweiss timetravel ... or Malcolm, wearing a tigerskin leotard suspended on the high wire! Maybe you were hauled up onstage to ring Dottie’s bells, or did your small child sing a carol beautifully?

Maybe you remember a song, a joke, a funny incident, a clunking big mistake or a shared moment with your nearest and dearest... tell us about it and we will pass it onto Malcolm in a book of memories at the end of the run. His achievement is simply outstanding and we want to thank him with your help.

How to share your memories:

Email your story plus your name and title ie. Sid Bloggs at BBC WM (contact details will not be stored or reproduced) to artscomplex@solihull.gov.uk

Post your memories in a signed letter to: Diane Fitzpatrick, Solihull Arts Complex, Homer Road, Solihull B91 3RG

Fax your memory/story to: 0121 704 6991 attention Diane Fitzpatrick

Call in: A memory book is in the Arts Complex during pantomime shows (various) just turn up and write yours in, or attach a ready-typed version if you wish, or simply hand a letter or card to any Arts Staff.

Your stories and memories will be retyped, and may be edited, but will be included in a presentation album to Malcolm at the end of the run.

There is still time to catch this year’s magical tale of Aladdin at the Solihull Arts Complex.

If you’ve been cooped up over Christmas what better reason to brave the cold than to enjoy a traditional panto?

The Malcolm Stent penned pantomime has received rave reviews and is nearing a sell-out run.

The family-friendly show runs until Sunday January 9 and you can book your seats by calling the box office on 0121 704 6962.

Ticket prices vary from between £11-£16.50.
