THE Moat Players are performing Babes in the Wood this weekend, part of their 50th anniversary season.
Starting life as a Tudor ballad, the story has grown over the centuries and is now a popular choice during panto season.
In this latest production, the wicked Sheriff of Nottingham is planning to dispose of the babes in an effort to inherit their fortune. Can Robin Hood save them?
The show will be performed tonight (Friday) and tomorrow at St Mary’s Church Hall. The evening shows kick off at 7.30pm, but there will also be a Saturday matinee, starting at 2.30pm.
Tickets are available on 07760 306 605.
